After 30+ years away my wife Jennifer and I have returned to Provo and have built a home in what used to be the PV 4th ward. Just a 3min walk from my Dad’s condo. Congratulations on your move back to Tenn.

Hello, John! It’s good to be back in contact. We were saddened to learn of your sweet mother’s passing. For years she called my wife on her birthday. I have retired from Tusculum in Tennessee and am back in Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, which we love.

Dear Madison
This may seem strange but I was passing through Provo and my thoughts went back to a time when you taught me the meaning of ABC gum by a fence In Joder Litz’s backyard.
It is nice to read a blog that has such a uplifting message
Thanks for good memories of long time past.

Dear Paul,
I remember that afternoon at Joder Litz’s, too, mainly because I felt sorry afterwards that we had played a trick on such a nice kid. I apologize (fifty years after the fact). Joder left us much too soon, as did your brother and a host of others.
I pray you’re doing well. I’d love to see you the next time I come to Piggott to check out our farms in Carryville and Pollard.
Best,
Madison

Yes we have lost a lot of good friends but we do get to keep our memories of them.
